Acadian contains unique bioactive compounds such as fucose-rich sulphated polysaccharides and alginates, which enhance root initiation and formation of small absorptive roots. This leads to improved plant establishment and uptake of water and nutrients.

Acadian improved every aspect of root growth with a 40% increase in total root length and a 44% increase in total length of small absorptive roots.
